Hatzolah’s New Home

After 13 years in operation, Hatzolah finally has a home. Currently, Hatzolah’s administrative component operates out of Glenstar House in the centre of Glenhazel, while our ambulance fleet and operations contingent is run from the campus of Yeshiva Maharsha in Fairmount.

Hatzolah is very fortunate to have been donated a property in Durham Street, Raedene. Renovations will soon begin on the property and a new wing will be added to include an administrative block, headquarters for responders, a medical store and training facility. The ambulances will all be housed on the property and there is ample parking on the premises. Once the necessary renovations are complete, the entire organization will operate under one roof, with improved communication and a more seamless flow between departments.

Demolition to existing outbuildings took place in early August, and earthworks and construction started at the beginning of September 2012. The estimated completion to the property is expected in the middle of 2013. We look forward to sharing our progress with you, as this exciting new chapter of Hatzolah begins.
