Hatzolah's Johannesburg team was first launched in 1998 to assist existing medical emergency services in the area, which are under enormous strain. The organisation is staffed by a group of Torah-observant, Jewish volunteers and is a free service to all Jewish people within our operating areas.
From the moment an emergency call is received, a seamless dispatch process ensures that our expertly trained responders are at the scene in record time, every time. While other emergency services have a much greater area to cover, which understandably compromises their arrival times, Hatzolah guarantees an unmatched quality of service and unparalleled response times. We therefore recognise our contribution to the health and safety of the
Johannesburg Jewish community as an imperative, irreplaceable one.
Hatzolah is a registered non-profit Company
We're also a public benefit organisation, which is run and managed by a board of directors consisting purely of volunteers. With limited resources and in order to maintain our superlative response times, Hatzolah operates within a tightly knit geographic area, allowing us to provide medical assistance quickly and efficiently.
Hatzolah's areas of operation
